ForNEVER and NEVER, GOB...~+~

When it all boils down to being obligatory, then I suggest it’s not the extraordinary
Superficially aiming for fantasy, but where else does it go? Mediocrity?
You go there!

Avenging the Scars that make up his Smile

Indeed, a movie worth watching!
Worth watching again!
And again!

Immortalizing Batman and the Joker's never-ending feud, the "Dark Knight" is certainly not the kiddie flick that the former installments used to be.
Finally, LadiesMan214's "Transformers" has passed his spot to Gotham's archnemesing duo.^^

Overshadowing the film's protagonist by the alterations of his persona, I guess “Killing the Joke” did pay-off.
Gotham's "Ace of Knaves" played by the late Heath Ledger (in the "Dark Knight") deserves more than just a tribute.

Why so serious, Son?

For the Love of Pizza... and emotion-provoking lines...^^

After all the innumerable fits, debates and arguments that predictably make our odyssey tiring, the first time conversation that actually felt otherwise, coincidentally turned-out predictions, sparkling eyes and goofy show-offs, 3-minutes-announcements before moon-gazing, pm to am and vise versa conversation that only felt like 5 minutes, rust trivias on the Faharas, utterly huge bite marks on your arms, principle hunting jackpots and commonalities, stereotypically cheesy lyric compositions, overnights over Stardust with our Boomer and Aduka, kisses on the forehead, hands tightly cuffed onto each other, air-begging giggles, gecko-audienced acoustics, Bak-Tin-Kok-Gub, scratches on our silvers, crazy frogs on jeepney rides, overrated DL requests, meal treats, sofas, Estancia mall Sunday masses, tree planting plans, friendship bands and bracelets, my favorite hugs and stares, the box full of Goody-s (that I irrationally lit up in flames. T.T), non-smiled but overly-pouted-lips photos, numerous spontaneously made songs that wont ever be sung again (kai mka limot na...^^), Firsts and Lasts, "... in this life and the next"'s, Prince and Princesses, Masters, Babynka, Moon residence, pizza meals forever and ever, all the many different shades of Pink on this beautifully made abstract on canvas by first and fourth graders who are strangely addicted to mango, apple, and pineapple juices, and the unstereotypically shown Love that we share, makes it all worth the barf... ~.~
How long has it been?
Because,
especially right now, it feels ONLY LIKE A DAY... ^.~

Abbey Road-ing Jones Avenue..^^

If the Beatle's could do it... We can Do better!
So after a day of lingering over at Mommy Alea's house and Baby Zeth's literally-meant crib, we then waited for about half an hour for Shen2 to arrive. The clock suggested dinner but only the most gentlemanly perverted guy in the group ate from across the street where we stayed. The gut-arousing aroma of chicken excrements in the air. Off to Jones where we stopped over McDonalds. Hannah (for the nth time since she came from Cali) again treated us. Eight McFloats.!!Good thing Mr. "Nagsugod ug letter C. Gsundan ug H..." refused the offer AFTER HANNAH ACTUALLY BOUGHT IT!Two Floats for me! Papi Tash and Miss "Duty ku ana! Bogo..." had to leave for home and duty. So, Paparts, Bry2, Hann, Lolo, Shen and I continued the night over at Hann's grandma's store. Volume mixed-tea, a deck of cards and an Encyclopedia filled conversation was on show. RoseTom came over from a "boring" party with another bottle of rhum.
Two AM on the clock. Had to leave for home.BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT!!!

The usual uncannily impulsive minds of reunited decade old friends unthinkably started to strut poses on the streets..! It was 2AM! Clear from all roadkills and possible road-er-killers.
The cement-covered-asphalt at our backs!
Pedestrian stripes bed!
Oblation statues!
Mooning cheeks!
Perverted Bee Mascots!
And a night to remember...
hehehe..!^^...

I hate tha fact that this all had to happen during the eventual culmination of summer..!T.T
Still glad it all happened..!
I L<3ve my FRIENDS!!!

...If it wasn't for this we wouldn't have grown another notch with my
fourth grade buddy. I know now how fourth grade buddy feels every time I rage against the portable disco player without any apparent reason... Thank you... ~.~

SPOILED TOMATO (on Naruto)!!! ^.*

T - The name "Naruto" is taken from one of the characters on (Sanin) Jiraiya's comics.

O - Orochimaru dies. Very predicatable by who. Stupid serpent!

M - Madara, the founder of "Akatsuki", is an Uchiha. He presently brainwashed Sasuke to avenge the Uchiha clan (forming the "EAGLE") since it has been discovered that the former Hokages' plotted the massacre of the Uchiha (by Itachi), seeing the clan as a political threat to the whole of Konoha.

A - Asuma (Shika, Ino and Chouji's smoker-teacher) dies in combat. He, however, is the father of Kurenai Yuhi's child. Honoring his teacher's death, Shikamaru learns how to smoke and stopes when he eventually kills his teacher's killer.

T - The Uchiha brothers finally meet in battle. The older dies and gives his Mangekyo Sharingan eyes to Sasuke. Furthermore, Itachi also tells Sasuke that the Hokages ordered him to massacre his own clan thus implying to let Sasuke avenge the death of their whole family.

O - www.onemanga.com still the best site to get ahead from the others..^^

Doing it for the Scars and Stories...^^

I had to draft this whle listening to David Cook’s rendition of MC’s “Always be my baby” in Antonio’s Multiply account. Hehehe! The song seems to make the feeling of “nostalgia” very favorable. *gi atay! Ka English sa kulot!!!*

I noticed, in my entry for the movie “Strawberry Fields Forever (Across the Universe)”, I wrote a seemingly hypocritical line of “summer's still boring...”. Curses to my curses..! I wish I could take it back! Anyways, one more week left. By then we’d drown ourselves into the utterly boring and **cked up tasks in school. Not to mention. Theses are coming up for most of us! But still! The Summer of 2008 is a summer I’m willing to come back to..! Nganu kaha? Nges why?! Nges why?!

They say HS’s the best stage in life. It’s the time where we are basically controlled by our hormones, forcing (or some of us, willing.haha!) us to enter into the paws of the “curios cat” (sa maka sabot). Yep.! There might have been a lot of bumps on the road but “cats have 9 lives”! heheh! But my point are not the bumps I had in HS. Its more on the fixations I had at that stage.

It took me about a few months to recover my “school sickness” during my transition from primary to secondary education. I hated the fact that I had to leave my friends (sa elem) behind for some education that I can get at my elem school or any other school (but I still love imak ^^). Pero it’s the memories really. That made me miss Bradford.

There was our little “Now and Then” group in grade 2 or 3. Our fanatic with the Spice girls in the 3rd grade. My incredibly girly punch on a guy at class because he accused me of stealing his green mango although I swear I did not, I remembered asking whose it was, no answer? Namy! Not stealing at all.!haha..!Peace..!^^. Come 4th grade. A guy in class who incredibly BELIEVE that a poem only consists a single line (*Ang Kalabaw*) had..well.. unfortuanlety barked at the wrong tree (if you know what I mean). Then, there was that unforgettable Japanese game in the 5th grade (Nges hu?! Nges hu?!). Also the rise of the GFACTS, KDHK, and the CNP..!hahaha..! ka aligri ato oie.! More I couldn’t even write remembering but those moments were everlasting. They were (Amen Kring!) indeed my first friends! My first laughs, cries, fights, punch, my first companions. That’s probably why, even though the gap of time since the last times were together was long, remembering and talking about them makes it seem as though it was still yesterday since it last happenend. *ug wa ku kasabot atu. Basta!*

Lookie-lookie at us now! All grown up! Well... at least most of us are..!heheh! but i have to admit! WE ARE FAMILY..! Si Alea ang inahan sa kinamanghuran!heheh! love you Yang!.

Truly, I’d like to thank Hannah. As in! This little Reunion might not turn out as GRAND as this if it wasn’t for you coming home from Cali. Hey! Ayaw jug kalimti na you still have a home in Cebu!

Sa mga taw pag Sunday ug pag Badian…Ug sa mga wa naka kuyog... I love you all!

Salamat kaayu JV, DON, DINO, NATZ, JIPOY, RIES, MITCH, LOLO, MARK, KIRK, ROMEL, TANYA, BRY, RITO, JEDI, ARJAY, DJOBAL, KEV, CHRYS, KRING, CESS, DAP, SHEN, KARA, HANN, TISAY, YANG, MAF, GLAIZ, KING ug TASH ug sa ubang wala na ku na mention...!..! ^._.^

Seven years... and counting. ^^,

I CAN’T WAIT FOR SEVEN YEARS MORE..!

Something about dogs...

I came home from school one day when I met a kid running towards and awkwardly un-cuddly dog. The dog must have felt instinctively anxious since he did not even bother wagging his tail to the welcoming being. The kid, almost a feet taller than the dog, opened her arms wide, hug the dog and rested her head on the dog’s nose. The dog seemed hesitant for a while. Not moving a muscle. Afterwards, the kid ran. The dog stayed. Talk about being “man’s best friend”.

Take it from me; I’m not an anti-pet person. In fact we have 2 family members of different genus at home. But I do have something against dogs. I was about 6 or 7 when I was unknowingly chased by a dog. Must have been my scent or any food that I carried but I threateningly ran towards home. I had a phobia of dogs ever since…

The real score here is. Man’s real best friend is actually himself. Yes, our pets or the like might at any point serve as family, but the difference here is…

… animals call it ‘instincts’, human beings call it… LIFE

The house on the Mill...^^

For the longest time, I am again reading a book of my interest. Although im not much of a fan to personal essays, journals and notes, surprisingly, I am now on the 96th page of Paulo Coelho’s “Like the flowing river”, a collection of his personal notes, journals and short stories. Ive never really thought about him as a devout Christian. Very contradicting to the authors of my previous reads. But his stories are actually those worth telling to the people around me.

In fact, im much of an author myself. Wrote about a few fan fictions and two short stories back in high school. Very funny reading those stories. I never knew I was that imaginative back then...^^

We went to “Bukid” last Wednesday. 40th day of my aunt’s death. We’re still at the stage of denial but we’re taking it slowly. It was never the same since then. She was so young. She’s an angel now...^^

A lot has changed in Cabangahan (proper name of Bukid) other than the fact that the virus of modern civilization has infested my cousins (conforming to the mediocrity of MTV, media and the like), the land too, suffers the gravest punishment of overpopulation.

By taxi, we rode from midcity to about 15km north. As usual, due to the mud created by dews and the rain, we had to walk to reach my grandpa’a house. From Insi Pilo’s house, you could already see how much land has been murdered. It was indeed a very beautiful place. My cousins, Billy and I would climb it during the summer. Not a very difficult climb since my grandfather tended the hill. On top was an unfinished house perfect for shade and the whole view of the city (back then, only one bridge connecting the islands can be seen since the second was not yet constructed). Now, lolo (grandfather in our vernacular) had sold it for my late aunt’s therapy. But then again, who knew? The money did not go in vain. Just the hill.

Apyat told me once, “Bisag pamilya ra unta ang namuyo sa tibuok bukid, nana nuoy taga syudad”. Sad, I know. That the very place where we (cousins and friends) used to play baseball, have picnics with Sin, the wonder cow who cries (but I later on knew that his tears were basic reflexes for excretion), bathe on pumped ground water ran for our lives at 9pm thinking that a floating coffin would chase us if we look back at our tracks would soon be occupied with 2-storey houses of centralized air conditioning, sedans and suv’s of the latest models and residents who’d never (or seldom) greet their neighbors “mayung gbie diha!” or “mayung buntag!”

The pressures of modernization.

I wish we were neighbors, Paulo.

I’d really like to take Goody on that church you mentioned. Like you, we also light three candles on the churches that we visit--- for friends, family, and each other…^^

Keep Moving Forward

Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. - Walt Disney

And yet again "Meet the Robinsons" adds up my list of favorite movies. favorite would mean, a movie iv seen more than once and still provoke my deepest emotions as if i'm viewing it the first time. just as Across the Univers (2 in one day), Transformers (6), ( Finding Nemo (7+), The Phantom Menace (5+) and Troy (11)!
Yep. and dont get me wrong!i could play the whole movie on mute if you'd want me to say out their lines!
but then again, i am a movie buff, so whatever movie you recommend, i'll certainly watch it (if Billy dl's it or if its anything but horror)!
But back on track.

The movie, basically revolves around how our families can mean more than your life!

Hypocritically speaking at present as for my case but i know eventually after i pass this stage of misunderstanding and petty arguments, i know my family will always be first. and by that time too, i'd hopefully be growing a little family of my own..

Moreover, the movie also included time traveling and changing those that will ultimately bring fortune or otherwise in ones future...lets not talk about my say on that.^.~

And so....go..!^^,

Stawberry Fields Forever^.^

I've seen the film Across the Universe twice yesterday. its probably the best movie iv seen in 4months since Transformers..!
its even very surprising because Prudence, my favorite character in the film, is a Filipina. she really delivered a very good rendition of the Beatles "I want to hold your hand" song. she was a lesbo hippy but who gives?! id be when its her..!
im not really a fan of the Beatles although i grew up listening to their music (from dad and his siblings) but i always loved Tears for Fears than them...hihihh..but then again, seeing the film twice and singing their songs after the credits rolled made me realize that they were not so bad...i had no reason not to like them since iv read that john lennon was shot because he bragged that they (the band) were more famous than Jesus..so much for being Anglicans...
their songs have beautiful lyrics.veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery sensible than the modern day lyrics of Akon, 50 cent, or Agressive Audio...no offense...

mao nang karun...
feel na kaayu naku mu kantag mga kanta sa the Beatles...
especially those featured sa movie..

summer's still boring...pero i dont want it to end...
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee_eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..!

tanaw nag ACROSS THE UNIVERSE kaw..?!!!?!?!?!!?!?!^.~

it's all a game...

are you so easily forgotten...
the same way you are eagerly remembered...
the last time we danced was all in dreams...
when the moonlight kissed our heads for looking up...
wasted by the sight of stars falling in raindrops...
violins singing with the breeze..

i wonder...
do you dream my dreams..?
these are all in writing...
can you describe this feeling..?
when time speak of nothing but summer...
hearts grew while emotions falter...

tell me...
does your heart beat the rhythm of my music..?
does see the many colors of our first sight..?

chekitawt..!
my first blog..!
